These cams were designed with performance and drivability in-mind. SLP has engineered these camshafts to deliver the best throttle response, torque and horsepower available and has optimized a specific profile for both automatic- or manual-equipped cars. In the case of a F-car, you can expect an improvement of up to 25 hp over the stock camshaft. Quarter mile times can be reduced by as much as 3-4 tenths. These camshafts do not include new lifters, as you can re-use your engine?s original lifters and come complete with detailed instructions and guidelines for proper degreeing of the cam.
