This is our newest design product. This is a very well built hood it will use all your factory hinges, latches and factory hood struts. The hood comes with the correct Black air inlet grills, same as the factory WS6 T/A's did. The under side our the hood is completely smooth the hood has air vent in the rear to let out hot engine air. The customer should be able to build their own design of ram air from the hoods under side, depending on their intake set up. It is very aggressive looking and will set your Firebird, Trans Am, Formula or GTA apart from everyone else's. We used this manufactures hood on our 91 Z28 convertible which has over 365 Rear Wheel Horsepower and we have had no problems with stress cracking or anything else. So it should stand up to anything you can throw at it. It also gives you approximately an additional 2 inches of clearance over a factory hood. It comes in a gel coat finish which will need to be scuffed up before painting. Any paint and body shop will be able to take care of this for you. All hoods come with oversized edges that will need to be trimmed for proper alignment.
