Details: This is a 98-02 Camaro SS Hood made by ASCD. It is a really nice aftermarket fiberglass hood that will fit your 98-02 Camaro, SS, Z28 or RS! It weighs about 35 pounds and uses all your original hood hardware. It is made with 3 layers of fiberglass not 1-2 layers like most fiberglass hoods. It is very unique looking and will set your Camaro RS, Z28, or SS apart from everyone else's. It is also a great replacement hood if your original hood got damaged. We used one of this manufactures hood on our 2000 Ram Air Trans which has over 435 Rear Wheel Horsepower & 450 foot pounds of torque and we have had no problems with stress cracking or anything else. So it should stand up to most anything you can throw at it. It also gives you approximately an additional 2 inches of clearance over a regular factory hood. It comes in a gel coat finish which will need to be scuffed up before painting. Any paint and body shop will be able to take care of this for you. **Please note Prices do not include shipping.
