This mass air flow (MAF) sensor was designed for stock or modified LS1 engines. The lightweight (1lb less than stock) composite MAF has a 13% larger inside diameter than stock (85mm vs. 75mm) and will add up to 10 additional horsepower. This unit will flow 90 CFM more than stock (895 vs. 805). With the screen removed (not recommended for street use) it will flow over 1000 CFM! The SLP MAF flows enough air for engines up to 600 HP!
